Trap

Trap is shot at the club on Wednesday nights and on designated Sundays depending on the time of year, and is open to the general public on the first Sunday of the first full weekend of each month. Check the calendar for dates and times.

We offer five automatic PAT traps with voice-activated calls. We are able to shoot at night with lighted fields. There is practice shooting, game shooting, a Winter League and we can set-up to shoot Wobble targets and Doubles, as there is interest. We also sponsor a 3-day PITA/ATA registered shoot once a year, which is open to both members and non-members.

5 Stand

Our 5-Stand course uses one of the trap pads. It includes a variety of targets, with singles, report pairs, and true pairs thrown from a number of different locations. Targets cross and go away, both high and low. A round of 5-Stand consist of 25 targets shot from five different stations. It is a challenging shotgun sport that requires a full compliment of shooting skills. The field is set on a lighted pad, so it can also be shot after dark. 5-Stand is available during the same time that Trap is open. Check the calendar for dates and times.

5-Stand has become a popular activity at the club. It is a social atmosphere, where you can visit as you wait your turn to shoot, and enjoy shooting with members of all abilities. Come out and give it a try.

Ammunition, as well as a limited amount of shooting supplies may be purchased in the clubhouse as a convenience to our members.
