Whether you are simply looking for a place to practice among friends, or enjoy the world of competition, our 4000 sq. ft. indoor range, 6-bay outdoor range, or the unique western-style outdoor range called “Bullet Butte”, all are designed to support your shooting needs.

In addition, NRA State Certified Instructors hold a variety of specialized classes throughout the year for both club members and non-members interested in maintaining or advancing their shooting skills. Advanced courses for local Law Enforcement, Oregon Department of Fish & Wildlife (ODF&W) and students enrolled at Umpqua Community College (UCC) interested in criminal justice, regularly train at our facilities.

Defensive Pistol

If your interest is in personal defense, the Defensive Pistol Course is designed for all shooters who carry firearms or would like to. On-going practice is an important part of owning a firearm. The club takes this responsibility seriously by offering weekly opportunities to practice and hone ones skill. This is a non-competitive event where every shooter receives range safety instruction.

Cowboy Action

The Umpqua “Regulators” is your local SASS (Single Action Shooting Society) affiliated Cowboy Action Shooting Club. Cowboy Action Shooting is a multi-faceted shooting sport in which contestants compete with firearms typical of those used in the taming of the Old West: single action revolvers, pistol caliber lever action rifles, and old time shotguns.

The club shoots a five-stage match on the 4th Sunday of each month. Set-up starts around 8:00 A.M. at the outdoor Pistol Range called “Bullet Butte”. The shooting competition is staged in a unique, characterized, "Old West" style. It is a timed sport in which shooters compete for prestige on a course of different shooting stages.
